Yes, our shampoos are pH balanced to suit dogs. There's a common myth that a good dog grooming shampoo or soap bar must have an alkaline pH of 7. While it’s important to use a shampoo within a safe pH range, pH should not be the only factor to consider when choosing a grooming product for your dog. The most crucial element in any dog wash is the ingredients used. Our liquid shampoos are made with mild surfactants, natural oils, butters, extracts, and pure essential oils, all carefully selected for their gentle and effective properties.
Are all your products 100% natural?
While our products are very close to being 100% natural, they are not entirely. For those interested in the chemistry behind it, it’s important to note that liquid shampoo cannot be 100% natural due to the presence of water. Any product claiming to be a 100% natural liquid shampoo is likely either misinformed or misleading. Water requires preservatives to prevent mold, yeast, or fungi growth. We use a paraben-free preservative made from glycerine, at just 1% of the total formula, ensuring safety without compromising quality. Our products feature natural and nature-identical ingredients for luxurious, high-performing formulas. Paw balms are 100% natural.
Are your products vegan?
All our products are vegan, except for our beeswax-based paw balm. However, a vegan paw balm alternative is available for those who prefer it.
Do any of your products contain Palm Oil?
Our original dog soap/shampoo bar contains sustainable Palm Oil certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). For those seeking a palm oil-free option, we also offer palm oil-free versions of the same bar.
